Welcome to Painted River Ranch Kennel! 

 

We are a small, family-owned ranch in the panhandle of Nebraska specializing in Mini and Toy Australian Shepherds.  We raise both NSDR and ASDR stock dogs and family pets.

All of our puppies are raised inside in a warm, loving environment and socialized for an easy transition to their new families.   They also have the run of our ranch to play.

Our puppies are American Stock Dog Registered and/or National Stock Dog Registered. We will guaranteed our dogs to be in good health when placed in a new home.

The Aussie Breed
Mini and Toy Aussie's are smaller  version of the Australian Shepherd with the Aussie’s enthusiastic, energetic temperament, with great intelligence and loyalty.
The standard the height of a Mini Aussie is 14" - 18" at the withers (shoulder) and the Toy is up to 14" inches at the withers.

The Mini/Toy Australian Shepherd’s vivacious attitude makes the breed a happy, loving family addition.  Their their intelligence and quickness to learn makes training an ease. 

Aussie were original breed to herd and guard flocks.  They are extremely devoted to their family and make excellent  companions.
